The Abyssal Biological Baseline Project

ABYSSLINE is an international research program to undertake benthic biological baseline studies in the UK polymetallic nodule mining claim in the central Pacific ocean. With a focus on open data, the project is led by the University of Hawai’i at Manoa (USA), Hawai’i Pacific University (USA), the Natural History Museum London (UK), the National Oceanography Centre (UK), Senckenberg Gesellschaft fur Naturforschung (Germany), Uni Research (Norway), and the International Research Institute of Stavanger (Norway).
